Co-host, producer, silly accent maker, and expert giggler. The shorter half of SLL, Ayanni loves cartoons, comics, cats, and crying about the comedic characters in KDramas. Academically speaking, she studies comics & animation, and some of her research interests are monsters, speculative fiction (fantasy, sci-fi, horror), multimodal storytelling, and erotica. When not editing SLL episodes, you can find Ayanni hanging out with her spouse and their two cats, working on one of her too many side projects, or making her way through a TV show (quickly) or a book (slowly).

More likely to bully Ayanni into watching and talking about something than the other way around, Corinne loves KDramas and CDramas and can normally be blamed for episodes on East Asian content. More academically, her research focuses on children’s and young adult literature; fantasy and speculative fiction; gender and sexuality studies; and consent. She also enjoys doing yoga, posting videos of alligators on her Instagram stories, and saying hello to the neighborhood cats.
